Storage
Canned sardines can be stored at room temperature. Even though canned sardines have a long storage life, it is best to check the expiration date. Turning the can every once in awhile helps ensure that all parts of the sardines are exposed to the liquid in which they are packed. Refrigerate unused portions of opened sardine cans.

That's it! We press the SAVE & CLOSE button on the ribbon and all the values are converted and stored in the database as 100 grams of Sardines, Atlantic, canned, in spring water, drained. Next we will show our new food / supplement in the Foods module. Click on the FOODS button on the ribbon to open up the Foods module.
Looking at our newly entered foodWith the Foods module open, enter "sardines" in the search textbox and click the FIND button. With the newly entered Sardines record entry highlighted, click on the EDIT button on the ribbon to see a detailed view of our newly entered values. Now you can work with cans and grams of this food.
