While trying to balance out diets I noticed that really basic supplements like calcium carbonate or even eggshell powder are missing from the food database... So unless you are willing to use "bone meal" there's no apparent way to meet calcium requirements?

I am getting the idea that we could add calcium carbonate using the Food wizard but I am not sure what exactly to fill in - is there some tutorial on how exactly to use the food wizard?

Like the Calcium Carbonate from NOW... Do we just fill in 100% calcium and that's it... Or do we have to fill in some other details for the measurement to be accurate.

Also - is it possible to delete items from the food database? I'd love to get rid of the hundreds of ingredients that aren't appropriate for pet nutrition since this would make the food search way more efficient?

Thanks!

Hi Vivien. Please provide a link to the calcium carbonate product and we will help you.

See the link below to find a tutorial on entering eggshell powder.

You cannot delete foods from the database.
