I need to reduce calories to 1500 from the 1600 listed Post neuter I tried changing pet profile to no avail Tried listing as heavy and calories do not go down. My concern is if I balance to 1500 calories is the diet still balanced as it is based off 1600 calories? There should be a way to edit Daily target as the target provided is way too high

Try multiplying your dog's weight by (0.9/0.8/0.7/0.6) until you get the desired calorie goal.

First try 0.9(your dog's weight). If this creates a target calorie goal that is still too high then use 0.8. Keep going until you reach the desired calorie goal.

Check the Pet Info to make sure that the recipe is reflecting the new weight of your dog. See pic.

if not, close the Balancer screen and reopen. The new weight will be reflected. This is because when you open the Balancer module for a recipe, the underlying data is grabbed at this time. If you change the underlying data (for example, weight), then the data needs to be refreshed. Closing the Recipe Balancer and reopening it will get the refreshed data.
